Profile Summary:
Voya Financial is searching for a Claims Specialist to work in our Downtown Minneapolis or Tempe, AZ office. The claims specialist will be responsible for interpreting contract language and processing claims, providing high quality service both internally and externally, consistent with expected regulatory and compliance requirements.
Profile Description:
- Analyze and determine claims payment in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers
- Participate in problem solving activities in a team environment
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years post-secondary educations or equivalent experience (minimum 1-3 years claims of insurance experience for claims examiner)
- Effective customer service skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a workflow environment
- Medical Terminology for specific roles
