Junior Data Analyst – Advertising Operations

About the Job
VS Media is currently looking for an organized and thoughtful Junior Data Analyst to enhance our Media Buying team. Internally, the title will be referred to as “Advertising Operations (AdOps)” This position will report directly to the Media Buying Manager. The team operates in-house, during regular business hours, and on many platforms. These platforms include Google Ads and adult industry ad networks, though the team also works with direct publishers and brokers. This position is currently remote due to Covid but after it will require attendance on site.
The individual that succeeds in this role is someone who is both careful and dedicated. They must enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment. This candidate will need to be extremely resourceful and able to collaborate in a team environment. Proper training on the team’s policies and procedures will be provided.
Areas of Training and Responsibilities
- Learn VS Media’s Media Buying processes.
- Assess high-volume advertising spending to determine future buys.
- Perform daily account management on various advertising accounts.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of ad placement, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score, and other important account metrics.
- Generate weekly and monthly analytical reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other initiatives.
- Create and test new ad placements.

- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Has a background, work experience, or education, in Business Administration, Media Buying, Marketing, Statistical Analysis, or similar.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or MySQL is appreciated, but not necessary for this role, as the education will be provided.
