Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including workers compensation and FMLA
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and develop training programs
- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources
- Implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness
- Utilize HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) to maintain accurate employee records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experience in workers compensation administration
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition strategies and practices
- Proficient in process improvement methodologies
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with performance management systems and techniques
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Budgeting experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
