Description
Summary: Performs route supervision, including verifying meter readings and inspecting vending areas for cleanliness, performs Vending Route Person duties when position is vacant or not staffed due to absence, and provides input into product selection and machine placement decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Provides for continuity of vending service operations by filling in for the Vending Route Person in his/her absence.
- Contributes to the continuity of operations by responding to special fills after-hours, as needed.
- Responsible for overs, shorts, and bank reconciliations for all locations.
- Interacts with customers to answer questions about the services offered and investigates any complaints.
- Assists with moving and the setting of vending machines, as needed.
- Performs after-hours service calls for minor fixes, as needed.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions and percentages.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of inventory and ordering process systems.
- Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a clean motor vehicle record.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record review.
