Automotive Parts Counter Associate

W-K is actively looking to hire a full-time Parts Counter Associate. Benefits included. Compensation is competitive and dependent on experience.

Parts counter representatives are responsible for assisting customers in finding the appropriate parts for their vehicle. At a retail automotive store, you'll work one-on-one with customers to answer questions and find parts matching the make and model of their vehicles.

Duties Include but not limited to:

· Maintain a superior level of customer service and interpersonal skills and maintain strong emphasis on customer satisfaction

· Assist customers with selecting required parts. suggest companion requirements, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line

· Pull purchased from stock. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer

· Answer phone calls, provide pricing quotes and other information

· Assist outside sales representatives with their orders

· Set up daily orders for daily pick up

· Assist the service technicians in selecting pats needed for repairs in process

· Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean

· Prior experience in an automotive parts department preferred but will train a qualified candidate.

· Maintains core knowledge of products and product updates

· Demonstrates a high work ethic and exhibits professional and acceptable behavior at all times

· Is self-motivated, organized and success driven

· Completes assigned tasks promptly
