About the Role: We are looking for a HR Strategic Business Partner to join our Performance Solutions Division (PSD), as a member of a team of Strategic Business Partners aligning our people strategy with the strategic direction and priorities of the business. In your role as Strategic HRBP, you will act as a resource and partner to the members of the Leadership Teams, establishing a high trust relationship, proactively working with, and influencing leaders, teams, and associates on a wide range of Business and HR topics to drive success and fulfill our brand promise of Together, improving life. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to Divisional leaders by understanding business needs and external practices to align and develop the organization and frame strategic choices
- Collaborate with leaders to integrate business and people planning processes
- Work closely with the global leadership team to develop and deliver talent and organizational initiatives within the business or function
- Act as a Trusted Advisor/Coach for Senior Leaders on People Matters
- Drive Organizational effectiveness through Organizational Design and Transformation programs
- Identify the need for change and lead the implementation and adaptation to new or changing organizational structures and capabilities
- Influence/challenge, educate and coach broad leaders regarding team effectiveness, organizational change management, and leadership capabilities
- Partner with global HR Services and Centers of Excellence to ensure that HR programs and processes are aligned with the business needs and are well-executed
- Take on high-impact project work in support of HR functional and Enterprise business needs
- Learn and model our unique Enterprise culture as a source of competitive advantage
Required Qualifications:
- University degree (focus on HR, Business, Organizational Effectiveness or related field preferred) or equivalent demonstrated experience relative to the role expectations
- Minimum 7 years HR functional experience is preferred or equivalent demonstrated capability via business experience
- Demonstrated experience and capability in leadership coaching, complex facilitation, contracting, conflict resolution, change management, organizational design and development
- Experience in driving and implementing effective Integrated Talent processes
- Strong working knowledge of human resources practices and processes
- Strong inter-personal relationship and communication skills, written and verbal
- Influencing skills, and ability to work across a matrix organization
- Ability to establish credibility (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought-partner (builds relationships, delivers results)
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment and in various time zones
- Ability to travel up to 20%
