Job Title: Service Technician II
Shift: 8:00am, -5:00pm, Mon.-Fri.
Pay: $25-$30/hour
The primary mission as our Service Technician II, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of customer owned safety equipment, while learning new skills and safety training. The Service Technician II will have the benefit of a company provided vehicle and will also elevate equipment and service offerings to clients during regular service calls.

- Perform monthly inspections & maintenance on fire extinguishers
- Fire hose testing
- Functional testing of Scott, MSA, and Honeywell (Survivair) SCBA’s
- Perform inspections on emergency shower & eyewash stations
- Maintains demo and rental equipment
- Enter service orders into the order entry system and prepare equipment for shipment
- Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and coordinate paperwork
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customer personnel air monitoring equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customer fixed gas detection equipment
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- REQUIRED CDL for Hazmat
- Two to five years related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize work effectively
- Possess problem solving skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be results-orientated and highly productive
- Possess the ability to follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules
- Relative proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Unwavering commitment to a safe workplace and to safe work practices
- Complete devotion to exceptional customer service and follow up
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
- Previous certification from manufacturers is preferred, however, on-the-job training and vendor training will be provided
- This position will require the use of company vehicles
- An acceptable driving record is required
- Travel up to 75% of the time
- Manufacturer certification is preferred; on-the-job training and vendor training is provided
