Reports To: Lead Drafts Person, Lead Designer

We are looking for a Drafter to work with our team to create technical drawings by using computer aided software for the residential and commercial construction industry by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Drafts, forecasts, schedules and prepares project submittals.*
*
*
2. Reviews drawings, contracts, plans and specifications for customer accuracy.*
*
*
3. Reviews submittal data on proposed materials and equipment for conformance with contract and specification requirements.*
*
*
4. Coordinates and communicates with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and city planning departments to ensure quality assurance for project completion and compliance.*
*
*
5. Performs accurate field measurements to create as-built drawings.*
*
*
6. Works closely with the Lead Designer and Lead Drafts Person to achieve optimal design solutions and accurate drawings for the construction process.*
*
*
7. Provides details for onsite building processes to foreman when necessary.*
*
*
8. Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.*
*

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, AutoCAD, Sketchup, VectorWorks, Enscape, and Revit.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) in the Design field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
