Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Division: Great Plains – Denver, Colorado

Job Summary: Provide management and support for the areas of employee relations, talent development, employment law compliance, onboarding, employee engagement, and employee life cycle management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and collaborating with managers to reach favorable outcomes.
- Support division leadership in creating and executing career pathing and talent development strategies at the division level.
- Ensure employment law compliance by maintaining current working knowledge of employment law in Colorado.
- Manage and coordinate the onboarding process including pre-hire paperwork, orientation, new hire training and assimilation, accelerating time to productivity.
- Develop strategic partnerships with executive-level stakeholders through trust-building, transparent communication and aligning objectives to facilitate shared success within the organization.
- Administer the employee engagement survey; partner with HR Director to distribute results and lead action planning; support a winning culture through engagement initiatives.
- Partner with Division leaders and HR team members to fulfill talent acquisition needs throughout the division.
- Develop direct reports in their own HR career path.
- Manage the employee life cycle, including leave events, job assignment modifications, terminations, etc. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant laws.
- Administer employee recognition programs.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in human resources, sociology, business administration, or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in human resources.
- Construction Experience preferred.

- Ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Strong initiative and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage competing demands
- Limited travel is required (less than 10%)
