HV/AC Installation Technician (Phoenix, AZ):

W.W. Williams (Carrier Transicold) Phoenix, Arizona is an authorized Carrier service, warranty, parts and new product sales provider.

We are looking for an experienced Auto and/or Diesel Technician who is interested in training to become an Installation Technician .

We are targeting seasoned mechanic who is looking for an opportunity to build a career in the Transport Refrigeration industry, because our customer and sales base continues to grow so are we.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge/interest in AUTOMOTIVE and/or DIESEL engine repair experience.

Installation Technician will:

  • Mount compressor, condenser, and other components in specified locations on frames, using hand tools and air & power tools.
  • Lay out reference points for installation of structural and functional components, using measuring instruments.
  • Lift and align components into position, using hoist and jacks.
  • Fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration system, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Drill holes and install mounting brackets and hangers.

Required Skills:

  • Must have your own set of general tools.
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling.
  • Exposure to noise, heat, cold, shop conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
