Job Description :

Growing Plaintiff's personal Injury law firm is seeking a full-time associate attorney licensed in Virginia. License in MD and/or DC is a plus. This is an entry level position perfect for someone with 0 to 2 years-experience. Duties will consist of evaluating and if needed trying cases in Virginia's GDC, going to infant settlement hearings, negotiating cases with insurance companies and other entities, working with office staff to obtain necessary case documents, and working with other attorneys in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of personal injury matters.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and execute effective litigation tactics.

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process.

  • Conduct settlement negotiations and assist with mediations or arbitrations when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Virginia.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
