Demonstrated experience in developing and/or updating control plans and FMEA's. Experience with researching and issuing corrective actions. Strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills. Strong customer service skills Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software. Strong attention to detail & organizational skills. Strong technical aptitude. Some travel may be required (

Duties/Responsibilities
- Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
- Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and Lean-Six Sigma tools and analyses. Lead and/or participate in quality process improvement projects.
- Facilitate and lead effective 8D investigations by coordinating cross-functional problem-solving teams.
- Train plant staff on quality procedures.
- Perform routing go-and-see, FPLP approval, and layered process audits.
- Update work instructions and critical documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, and E Dockets as necessary.
- Perform material testing and diagnosis/recommendations for purchased products exhibiting either poor quality or poor performing characteristics.
- Provide customer requested documentation of claim details.
- Follow established process for handling customer deductions forwarded by accounts receivable.
- Serve as neutral party between customer and organization in claim investigation.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant work experience
- 2 or more years technical experience needed, automotive a plus.
- Lean/ Six Sigma green belt or higher a plus
- ASQ CQE/CQM a plus
- Must be able to work on your feet on the plant floor for extended periods
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to perform minor heavy lifting
