Job Summary: Perform various duties in production and remanufacture of motor coils. Includes removing insulation from used coils, brazing, applying and curing insulation, finishing and testing in accordance with manufacturing and quality procedures. Inspect work completed on components to internal inspection criteria for compliance to quality or engineering requirements. Responsible to perform work in a safe manner. Necessary skills include: reading simple blueprints, reading scales, testing equipment, understanding basic math functions including counting and decimals, use of measurement devices including calipers, micrometers, etc., welding, operating electrical testing equipment and operating an industrial truck. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED 3 years industrial or manufacturing experience This is a 2nd shift job Preferred: Electrical back ground Overhead Crane training Forklift license Functional Requirements: unusual fatigue factors including frequent and prolonged standing/walking, heavy lifting (45 lbs.), repeated bending, straight pulling and pushing, exposure to intermittent noise (90 DB), ability to distinguish basic colors, exposure to epoxy, solvent, degreasers, paint, vapors, heat, dust and smoke from burning.
