The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial AV installation, a deep understanding of industry standards, and proficiency with various AV products and technologies.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial AV installation.
- Proficiency in Crestron and/or AMX control systems.
- Must be able to travel, this position is 60% travel.
- Familiarity with DSP programming and audio calibration.
- Extensive knowledge of industry-standard AV products and technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) are a plus.
- Must have reliable travel.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
-Lead and supervise AV installation projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Installation Expertise:
-Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems in commercial environments.
- Proficient in mounting and aligning displays, projectors, and screens.
Cabling and Termination:
- Expertise in running and terminating various types of cabling, including HDMI, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
- Ensure neat and organized cable management practices.
Equipment Integration:
- Integrate and program control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron) for seamless AV system operation.
- Experience with DSP programming and audio equipment calibration.
Product Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard AV products and brands.
- Familiarity with NEC and Cisco displays, Biamp and Shure audio equipment, Crestron control systems, and other leading AV technologies.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform thorough testing and quality checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of installations, including wiring diagrams, configuration settings, and project reports.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry compliance standards during all installations.
- Ensure installations meet relevant regulations and codes.
