Job Title: Customer Returns Specialist

Job Type: Hourly Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Reports to: Director of Quality

Base Salary: $17.00

Based at: Waldom Rockford

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

· Check in, verify and receive customer returns

· Review traceability information for each return to determine disposition

· Work with Quality Coordinator for the disposition of returned product

· Assist Quality Coordinator with investigation and disposition of customer complaints

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Receiving Dept when needed

· Compile Waldom Games data and populate necessary spreadsheets

· Coordinate the B-45 and B-46 reports, as well as the auto-split function to move necessary orders to the GT warehouse. Requires strong excel skills

· Work with departmental leaders in developing and writing Standard Work documentation

· Preparation of UL/CSA customer orders, when needed, by:

1. Research UL and CSA websites for those agency’s approvals

2. Review manufacturer label to validate its UL/CSA status

3. Pick and pre-pack orders

4. When necessary, create UL and/or CSA labeling

5. Pack orders to prevent shipping damage

· Audit customer orders when needed

· Prepare audit report when needed

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

· Intermediate Cetec/WindX skills, including part number, traceability and location queries

· Strong internet browsing skills

· Intermediate math skills

· Intermediate skills with inspection devices; micrometer, caliper, etc.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

· Must be able to interpret drawings

· Detail oriented

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Outstanding attendance

· Strong communication skills

· Must have knowledge of picking and packing

· Minimal overtime may be required

· Comfortable in fast paced work environment

· Must be able to lift, move, slide objects up to 50 lbs
