What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at WALGREENS?
The Sales Assistant is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of the Sales Department by current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing this facility, and as may be directed by the Sales Manager to assure that the Sales Department is run in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. Additionally, the Sales Assistant is responsible for increasing sales and improving customer service.
Essential Job Duties:
- Write orders for customers of sales reps
- Request quotes from vendors
- Take customer phone calls on behalf of sales reps
- Be available to assist sales representatives in a variety of situations
- Assist sales manager on various projects
- Cold call new and inactive accounts.
- Help customers with credits and replacement bills.
- Mail out info packets, thank-you cards, and any info letters.
- Any customer service-related tasks to support the sales pod.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
