The Impact You Will Have Zelman & Associates is seeking an Equity Sales Associate for placement in its Boston or Cleveland office, working directly with senior executives of one of the leading independent research firms on Wall Street. Primary Responsibilities Synthesize the research product and communicate investment ideas Provide marketing support: account management, outreach to clients Cultivate new and existing relationships with leading institutional investors; prospecting within existing clients and new ones Communicate industry developments as it pertains to our research Communicate with demanding institutional investors Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree; preference for concentration in finance, economics, accounting or Marketing 1 year of sales experience preferred Knowledge of the equity market preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Superior sales, communication, and interpersonal skills Exceptional interpersonal communication skills Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit Strong organizational skills, facility using Excel Highly competitive; self-starter; ambitious; team-oriented Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
