What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Waller Design LLC?
- Financial management responsibilities include generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the overall financial health of the company;
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assist with cash flow forecasting;
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department - creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures;
- Perform audits and reconciliation of financial records and reports with corporate accountant and senior management;
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of improvement, cost saving opportunities, and strategies for enhancing the company's financial success;
- Collaborate with the project managers to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for each project.
- Perform accounting duties throughout various projects, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.
- Analyze all transactions and work unforeseen costs into the company budget.
- Keep a record of all company finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.
- Prepare cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information.
- Report any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to senior management for review.
- Advise colleagues and senior management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
- Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
- Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
- Create strategic business models based on analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
Requirements and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Smartsheet
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in netsuite, quickbook and quickbase
- Possess in-depth knowledge of best accounting practices, financial regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to interpret financial data in order to provide insights and recommendations
- Ability to work long hours and holidays.
- Working under high pressure situations
- Ability to manage and oversee all staff
- Strong organizational skills
- Bachelors degree or higher in accounting, finance, business management or related fields
- Exceptional ability to communicate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
