Walter Payton Power Equipment is the exclusive Manitowoc and Grove Dealer in IL, MI, IN and KY and also represents National, Manitex, PM/MAC, Broderson and Manitou. We are offering a new and exciting opportunity for a competitive Sales Representative/Crane Specialist to cover established territory in Northern and Central Indiana. This position will be based out of our state of the art facility in Lebanon, IN. Competitive Salary Commission! Sign- On Bonus opportunity available!

The Crane Sales Specialist will report to the Regional Manager. This individual selected for this position will be instrumental in achieving the branch business plan through profitable revenue generation.


Responsibilities will include:
  • Increase sales, rentals, parts and service revenues for the branch
  • Establishing new sales, rentals, parts and service accounts through cold calling and personal visits to potential customer locations and jobsites
  • Offering our full range of products and services to new and current customers
  • Working with all branch departments to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Educating customers about our equipment and by selling features and benefits

Qualifications:

Walter Payton Power Equipment strives to give Hall of Fame customer service performance, just as number 34 did every time he hit the field. Therefore, your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a potential first round draft choice. The qualified and ideal candidate will have 5 years sales experience in crane and or construction equipment sales and rental business, strong planning problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; however, candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and record of achievement will also be considered. Experience using a CRM program like Sales Force is a plus. We desire independent candidates possessing strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates degree is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Sales representatives receive a competitive base salary with commission. Additional benefits include a monthly vehicle allowance with mileage reimbursement and monthly mobile phone allowance. Walter Payton Power Equipment also offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K.

Salary : $67,800 - $85,900
