Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct electrical problems.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, as needed
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists as needed.
- Use common hand and power tools.
- Diagnose electrical or mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, using electrical schematics and/or repair manuals.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery as needed.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, AC and DC drives, servo control systems, 24VDC, 110VAC, and 460 VAC power systems
- Perform other tasks as directed or needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman Certification or Completion of a documented maintenance training program or trade certification.
- 5-7 Years Minimum Experience plus accredited schooling or certification
- PLC’s - Knowledge of Siemens, GE, and Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic, including the ability to write and troubleshoot PLC programs
- Testing - Applicant will be required to pass Oral and Written tests.
