The Job
The Coordinator, Public Relations will provide support to the publicity team for TBS, TNT and truTV as well as administrative support to the team leader/Director. Our ideal candidate will be organized, pro-active, flexible, able to multi-task across several projects with ease, and able to pivot when necessary. This is a demanding, fast-paced position that requires someone who has a positive attitude and can exercise good judgment, take initiative, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
The Daily

Handling daily logistical functions of the team including:
- Upkeep of team documents
- Press material management
- Press Break tracking
- Maintaining and updating media lists and editorial calendars
- Work with cross-functional departments to ensure press site and series pages are updated across all series.
- Assist with planning, staffing, logistics and travel for events including premieres, press junkets, festivals, conventions, and other special events.
- Manage budget tracking and invoice processing for publicity expenses across all shows
- Responsible for distribution of media assets (press releases, photos, clips)
- Create and distribute programming alerts as directed
- Create and maintain talent schedules, calendars, status reports, memos, and research documents related to project campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming and help develop pitches.
- Assist with talent and producer outreach, coordination, interviews, etc. as directed
- Growth opportunities to hone pitching and interview coverage skills will be supported
- Provide administrative support to Team Leader/Director (expenses, travel, meeting calendaring)
The Essentials
- Two years of experience working in entertainment publicity, with an understanding of the entertainment press, trends, and social media.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good judgement and ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
- Skilled with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights as required for events.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
