The Product Support Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating product support sales operations strategies and activities through tactical implementation of sales plans, marketing strategies, sales training, territory development, market analysis, and opportunity management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborates in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of product supports sales operations goals.
  • Has Leadership Responsibility of the Inside Sales Team for Machine Division Product Support
  • Develop and implement appropriate Machine Division product support marketing plans designed to increase customer awareness, identify new customers, and enhance market penetration and increase percentage of parts sales.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with Caterpillar and other OEM Parts and Services Reps.
  • Overseas administration of Merchandising and Pay for Performance Claims for Machine Division Product Support Sales.
  • Responsible for developing Product Support Sales reporting and trend data to provide to Senior and Executive Leadership.
  • Responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing the product support sales team budget for the machine division in accordance with service and parts department goals.
  • Works directly with General Manager of Product Support Sales to develop strategy plans by aligning OLGA Opportunity with marketing and pay for performance resources.
  • Reviews and analyzes territory coverage needs for Inside Sales Reps, Outside Sales Reps, Technology Sales Reps, Specialist Reps and Administrative Support.
  • Directly lead sales operations team meetings and assists in annual review of Product Support Sales Operations staff.
  • Works directly with the General Manager of Product Support Sales and the General Manager of Machine Service to implement sales plans and measure success.
  • Communicates with CAT and other dealers regarding product line and CAT initiated programs.
  • Responsible for growing our E-Commerce footprint through Digital Technology.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • General computer literacy a must.
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.

Required travel up to 35%.
