MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Generate detailed 2D/3D models and shop fabrication drawings of material handling equipment, such as: drag conveyors, bucket elevators, and belt conveyoers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed models and drawings of related equipment
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance
  • Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
  • Coordinate with other colleagues, regarding complex design details and models
  • Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechanical design (preferably in a machine design setting)
  • A.S. Degree
  • 1-year experience preferred, but not required
  • Design drawing interpretation

Preference given to applicants with knowledge of:

  • 3-D software (Solidworks)
  • Auto-CAD
  • EPDM

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented
