Customer Service Representative (CSR)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the primary point of contact for customers and provides essential customer service support in four key areas: Purchase Order (PO) coordination, Communication of the production schedule, New Product Development (coordinate onboarding of new products into production), and general Customer Support (i.e. helps Shipping Clerk and Accounting with customer questions related to shipping and invoicing) to deliver a world-class customer experience which will lead to long-term customer retention and increased sales. This position reports to the Director of Customer Service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process new and revised POs
• Manage workflow and documentation in ERP system
• Coordinate with Operations and communicate production status information to customers
• Send product samples to potential customers and production samples to existing customers
• Assist with new product development onboarding tasks
• Respond to customer requests for information and documentation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of previous work experience, preferably in a customer support role
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent personal organization. Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Results-orientation
• Team-player, ability to coordinate across multiple functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

COMPENSATION: $20-$25/hour based upon experience. Eligible for medical, dental, 401k, as well as quarterly and annual bonus program.'
