What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Ed Tech III position at Washington Academy?
Educational Technician III
Joining a growing special education department providing 1:1, small group, and study hall support for students with IEP and 504. Work with students in both the special education and general education settings.
This is an 11 month position for individuals wishing to work and live in a private secondary school setting. Residential staff will work in the special education department and live and work as part of our residential life team, and support students in extracurricular involvement. The residential portion has summer responsibilities with our summer program and will be discussed in the interview.
As part of their residential compensation, Residential staff are provided health insurance, dorm housing, all meals, internet, and an opportunity to travel on school trips. Residential staff may receive college course reimbursement if pursuing continuing education in their field, an opportunity to participate in orientation and training programs, and comprehensive professional development opportunities along with all teachers and staff.
