DSHS ESH Food Service Worker Lead
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lead Food Service Worker with a passion for helping people to join our team at Eastern State Hospital (ESH) .
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

DSHS ESH Food Service Worker Lead

Some Of What You'll Be Doing
- Preparation of all food for dinner meals and snack items, according to therapeutic dietary guidelines
- Prepare and cook special foods for patient activities when required
- Provide assistance to Food Service Workers when preparing food for the therapeutic dietary needs
- Communicate with Cook 2 for any shortages or if there are overages of prepared products
- Operate, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment
- Ability to comply with ESH's health screening requirements by undergoing an initial and annual health screening
- Ability to comply with union shop requirements
- Ability to obtain a food handlers card within 15 days of employment
- Eligibility to work in a facility receiving Medicare funds
- Those with one year of experience in food preparation or cooking
- Completion of a course in large-scale cooking may be substituted for one year of experience
