We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Papillion Sanitation, a Waste Connections Company, in Omaha, NE As a 2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with a team and have a passion for mechanics.
Pay Range:$25 - $35 per hour $12,000 Bonus!
Schedule:Monday - Friday | 2:00pm - 12:30am
Job Requirements:
- A clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and heavy equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
