Wastequip is the leading North American manufacturer of waste handling and recycling equipment , specializing in products, systems and solutions to collect, store, transport and handle a wide range of waste, recyclables and products.
Wastequip’s Toter division is looking to expand its talent base. We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager. Our ideal candidate will have the technical expertise to effectively manage the life-cycle of our full product portfolio, from existing to new product lines. Key responsibilities include:
- Manages the entire lifecycle of all GTP products with responsibility for product margin;
- Project manages and executes new product development and new product launch plans;
- Assesses market demand working with sales team to identify potential new products and required specs;
- Works with Engineering and Purchasing to make sure product specifications can be achieved at the required cost;
- Executes marketing plans across all product lines consistent with product lifecycle stage;
Requirements:
- BS/BA in engineering or related field;
- 3 years of product management experience in an engineering or technical focused role– waste industry preferred;
- Experience balancing the technical and marketing demands of an industrial product line;
- Basic competency on laptop PC and smart communications devices;
- Ability to work independently but able to work effectively in a team environment;
