What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Technician IICRC Certified position at Water Damage Experts of Hillsborough County?
Our company is looking to hire experienced water technicians. If you currently hold an IICRC water certificate or if you have 1-2 years experience in the restoration/mitigation industry and would like to work for a great company who will pay for you to get certified then let’s talk about a bright new future. This position will report directly to our Project Manager. To be considered as an ideal candidate you must have reliable transportation to and from work. You must hold a valid drivers license in the state of Florida, with a clean insurance record. Our company is a drug free work environment so you must be able to pass a preemployment drug test and random drug testing throughout employment. Must also be able to pass a preemployment criminal background check.
In addition to the above mentioned our new team members must be able to adhere to the following but not limited to:
- Performs mitigation/restoration per IICRC standards including but not limited to: water, mold, bio hazard, fire and smoke damage cleaning
- Maintains yearly CEU’s in order to maintain IICRC certification
- Participation in monthly education programs
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with customers
- Maintain proper documentation on all service call and visits per company protocol
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Extremely organized and ability to multi task
- Respects and maintains the confidentiality of our company, client and business development information
- Ability to learn how to properly assess clients property damages, how to properly set up and monitor drying equipment, how to do detailed drawings, moisture mapping, temperature readings, dehumidifier readings, requirements for file photos and other requirements for proper documentation per company policy
- Maintains appropriate equipment and supply stock in company vehicle for daily route and emergency service calls and ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and image for our company to both internal and external customers. Maintains and practices of company mission and yearly goals.
- Participates in daily work assignment meetings for job updates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
