As Account Manager Chemistry Consumables, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. You will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”. This position brings you a great degree of flexibility working in the field. Your role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.

 

This role is currently focus on chemical sales and will cover direct and indirect sales, should work with collaboration with cross functions to ensure customer and Waters business success. The role scope will extend to service even instrument recurring for the total solution sales as assigned by the manager in mid/long term in accordance with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute BU’s long term strategy to implement recurring business plan including chemical, RUO kits related to overachieve business profitable growth.
  • Act as Waters ambassador should be familiar with market needs/trends,Government policies/competition status,and have the ability to identify potential business partners via observed and unmet customer needs.
  • Addressing new/existing clinical customer needs(Hospital, ICL, IVD company, clinical toxicology and FOR toxicology)and offer current observed technical solution, and extend to scientific/metabolic future unmet aims.
  • Organizing regional/national on-line and on-site seminars/events and Establish business leads and manage leads pool.
  • Assign active leads/customer application support to regional partners and track accordingly to ensure consistent customer communication and satisfaction.
  • Routine visit to existing VIP customers/potential addressable customers national-wise to maintain customer relationship and develop potential business opportunities
  • Manage e-commerce platform with marketing and commercial team to set up a“cost -efficiency” and “customer focus”business order management and ensure the utilization rate.
  • Set up the price structure to ensure Waters competitive position and profit.
  • Set up the clinical hot line to address customer technical concerns and provide corresponding application solutions to ensure customer stickiness and maximize chemicals sales.
  • Manage customer unmet needs/concerns and be responsible to report hard-to-do tech and quality issues to global and follow accordingly.
  • Collaborating and Sharing information with cross functions like regional sales, service sales, application, marketing, commercial excellence to act as a team to maximize customer success.
  • Act as the bridge between local and global structure, to actively engage product trainings and interact with global product marketing and manufacturing to enhance GC reputation and deliver up-to-date chemical technology/features to deliver solution sales and success to China market.
  • Qualifications

     

    -Above Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or related scientific field;

     

    -Minimum 5 years sales related experience in MNCs in chemistry, Scientific instrument related with sound proved records;

     

    -Deep understanding of LCMS knowledge and clinical market/customer needs in accordance with the regulatory.

     

    -Lab experience is a must and be familiar with Waters LC, LCMS product, be skilled at sample preparation,separation and etc. Various knowledge for competitor product is preferred.

     

    -Good planning skill to deliver/overachieve business goals.

     

    -Enthusiastic, self-motivated, well organized, collaborative with strong communication skills, can independently deliver solutions/present to director above level customers.

     

    -Result oriented, eager to join a startup business team to take challenge tasks and achieve success together.
