We are a locally owned Bed & Breakfast that has been open since 2007 and are looking for a Front Desk Manager
Duties:
- Manage and oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, and phone systems.
- Ensure smooth and efficient guest relations by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Train, supervise and schedule front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ordering, shopping and inventory of all the items needed to ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk, running an inn or guest relations role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and guest management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle guest complaints or issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
