About the Role As a Credit Analyst at our Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis, MO, you will perform a variety of challenging tasks involving Watlow’s domestic and international credit and collection processes and policies.  Your responsibilities include working with customers and internal teams to reduce risk and increase cash flow.   Your Key Responsibilities Reduce customer AR delinquency and minimize bad debt risk through consistent follow up with B2B customers while documenting correspondence in ERP/Excel. Proactively monitor, recognize, and mitigate standard AR risk flags to determine where customer hold is needed to reduce bad debt risk. Applies good judgement and decision making to held orders within guidelines to maximize sales while controlling credit risk. Recognize, research, reconcile, and resolve, quote to cash transaction problems and disputes by working closely with internal departments and external customers. Establish and maintain positive and supportive relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring work product meets or exceeds expectations. Assist in developing and implementing best practices and help drive implementation of processes and tools to improve efficiency. Respond timely to customer requests for account information.   Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in B2B collections (2-5 years) in a manufacturing or distribution environment.   Desired Qualifications General accounting knowledge Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Exceptional communication skills including conveying information accurately, listening effectively and clarifying when needed. Team player with a high level of personal motivation and above average customer service skills Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail Possess good judgment skills and ability to make decisions within prescribed guidelines Must be able to work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently and meet multiple competing, inflexible deadlines.
