Job Description
Job Title: Field Merchandiser

Job Summary : The Field Merchandiser will implement merchandising standards and processes in new stores, full store resets, remodels, equipment enhancements, closings and special projects. Ensure plan-o-gram compliance, accuracy, and coach Store Management team, on merchandising standards at store level. Support Marketing initiatives and fixture installations. Assist with training of 3rd party and store operations associates.
Principal Duties:
- Implement merchandising plan and standards; participate in store set up activities for new stores, remodels, equipment enhancements, full store resets and store closings.
- Ensure plan-o-gram compliance, accuracy, and coach Store Management Team on merchandising standards at store level.
- Assist the Field Merchandising Coordinator with the new store opening process, participating in the store set up, stress test and opening week activities. Guide 3rd party and store operations associates as needed.
- Implement communication standards for resets, distribute to Store Management, Area Manager, Merchandising Supervisor and FMC.
- Perform full or partial resets as assigned by the Merchandising Planner or Field Merchandising Coordinator.
- Complete surveys for small equipment, fixtures and shelving for new stores, remodels, category resets, full store resets and equipment enhancements on a timely basis.
- Participate in special projects that help drive process improvements.
- Conduct surveys as scheduled by Merchandising Planner or Supervisors for Category Teams.

- Ability to lift and put away 40 lbs. of merchandise and/or equipment on a consistent basis
- Must be able to perform the following behaviors repetitively throughout the shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below waist, grasping firmly, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing
- Possess and maintain a Driver’s License. Ability to transport small equipment.
- Willingness to travel. Some second, third shift and weekend work required on occasion. Overnight stays may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or High School equivalency, preferred
- 1-2 years related experience in retail or merchandising
- Experience with Windows Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Familiarity with iPad helpful
