Waypoint, formerly known as Waban, is seeking an Integrated Supports Registered Nurse to provide telehealth treatment and preventive care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and collaborate with service providers and staff to ensure quality methods of treatment are delivered to promote a safe and healthy life.

About Waypoint:
Waypoint offers comprehensive services, including a special purpose Pre-K through Grade 5 private school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, case management and outpatient therapy for children and adults, and residential and in-home supports for adults with Intellectual Disabilities.
About the Role:
The Integrated Supports RN provides telehealth treatment and preventative care for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and collaborates with residential service providers to ensure quality methods of treatment are delivered. The RN is responsible for the provision of virtual training and remote support of direct service staff. The RN works on-site/in-person at the Waypoint administrative office and provides remote support to members and staff. The RN will serve as the primary point of contact according to work schedule and manage medical concerns for individuals residing in Waypoint's 24-hour support programs. The RN will be a member of the Nursing Department team at Waypoint, with this position primarily responsible for telehealth with members and remote support for direct care staff and program administrators. This is a one-year grant-funded position.
Qualifications:
-Willing to complete DSP certification within 6 months of hire.
-Willing to become certified as a CRMA instructor and provide required training.
-Graduate of an accredited program in Nursing and hold a valid license to practice as an RN in the state of Maine.
-Experience working with individuals with IDD/autism is welcomed.
