Campers Inn RV is looking for an RV Technician! This role ranges in duties from demonstrating the use and function of RVs, diagnosing problems, inspecting, adjusting, repairing recreational vehicles.

Essential Job Functions

- This is a safety sensitive position
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
- Perform routine maintenance
- Test drive RV’s to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly
- Demonstrate repairs made, uses, function of features and how to perform basic maintenance of the RV to customers
- Inspect, test and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, charts and pressure gauges
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
- May have to enter and exit small confined spaces
Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- RVIA certifications preferred
- Experience:
- A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred
- Abilities:
- Knowledge of OSHA and other related state and federal regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety manuals
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations
- Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed
- Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
