Main Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Works within clinic guidelines, accurately schedules, reschedules, cancels, and confirms all patient appointments.
- Collects and processes payments, co-payments, and insurance information.
- Accurately takes phone messages from all staff and routes appropriately in a timely manner.
- Monitors Provider schedules throughout the day and makes appropriate adjustments throughout the day.
- Prepare and organize charts for same-day, next-day, and future appointments.
- Obtaining and preparing patient records for appointments.
- Maintains proper knowledge of the computer and its scheduling system.
- Performing tasks related to medical records management.
- Performs other work-related tasks as required.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Flexibility to work at other clinic locations and provide coverage as required.
- Availability for evening and weekend hours to meet the needs of patients.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) eClinicalWorks practice management software is beneficial but not required.
Schedule :
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm.
- Two Sundays per month - 8 : 30 am to 12 : 00 pm.
