Let’s talk about the role:
We are looking for a qualified Knowledge SEO Specialist to develop and execute all strategic on-page and technical SEO projects and initiatives and contribute to the strategic development and execution of off-page SEO activities. This individual must have a proven track record of creating and implementing national and local SEO strategies that have resulted in significant improvements of branding and sales based KPIs. As our company’s SEO expert, this individual will contribute to overall content and marketing strategies to maximize cross platform performance on overall business objectives.

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite in San Diego and able to participate in hybrid work.
You Will…
- Develop complete on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies for both national and local service based offerings.
- On-site / technical SEO optimization and implementation to increase site indexing and ability to be crawled (title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, page formatting, schema, internal linking, site speed optimization, etc.)
- Strong writing skills to create content (blogs and site copy) that supports SEO strategies
- Assist in the execution of specific off-site SEO activities such as backlink building, business directory optimization, etc.
- Build robust SEO content briefs to inform content production
- Provide detailed reports on the impact of SEO strategies and initiatives including KPIs (i.e., conversions, keyword rankings, organic visibility, organic sessions, branded vs. non-branded traffic, etc.)
- Complete regular SEO audits, create reports, and investigate issues when algorithm updates roll out.
- Stay current on digital marketing industry trends and champion innovation to help inform our SEO strategies and tactics
You Have…
- 3 years in SEO strategy development and implementation
- Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm updates.
- Proficient in discovering insights using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio
- Proficient with SEO tools (SEMrush, Content King, Screaming Frog, MOZ, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that inform, persuade and hold attention

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salaried, exempt position
- $55-65K
- Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k
