Job Summary: The Packer 1 is responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling and packing product to fulfill daily e-commerce orders. Must be able to perform basic math and follow basic instructions. Strong work ethic and the ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.

Key Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Pull and pack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Keep products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Monitor product quality frequently, reporting any problems to the Warehouse Manager
• Restock packing supplies at the end of the day
• Utilize continuous improvement mindset and assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Follow good manufacturing practices and required work safety practices
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above

Job Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions
• Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Demonstrate strong work ethic with a commitment to professional behavior and interactions

Physical Demands/Special Work Environment Notes:

• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time – up to 8 hours or more per day
• Apply physical mobility including reaching, lifting, holding, pushing, and pulling, carrying, bending, kneeling, arm and leg extension
• Able to communicate clearly through speech
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Appearance must represent the company image at all times

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are not required, but at the discretion of each individual employee. Daily wiping down and sanitization processes are exercised in high areas of frequent use.
