Role Description
- Inspecting: Check equipment for problems and determine the extent of repairs needed
- Service, repair, and test all heavy equipment that operates throughout all job sites to maximize performance and limit downtime.
- Diagnosing: Use computerized tools to identify malfunctions and consult manuals and drawings
- Disassembling: Take apart units and components to access parts that need to be repaired or replaced
- Repairing: Replace or repair parts like bearings, pistons, and gears, and overhaul engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Maintaining: Perform scheduled maintenance like cleaning and lubricating parts, and maintain service logs
- Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair skills
- Experience with Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Relevant certification or training in Equipment Maintenance
- Prior experience in the land development industry is a plus
