Position Profile
Weaver’s internal Finance department is looking for a Budget Analyst to join our growing team! The Budget Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of budgets within the firm. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for financial analysis. Our Finance team is friendly, fun and innovative!
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in budget analysis, financial analysis, or related role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with budgeting software or ERP systems
- Internship or work experience in an accounting firm or financial services industry
- Certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
Annual Base Pay Range for Texas: $50,000 - $60,000
