Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. Create and manage Feature Requests, Work Requests and Testing Requirements. Scrum Master Responsibilities Facilitate meetings Ensure that the meetings remain productive Research and implement new formats for retros to keep them from becoming stale and unproductive Assist the team with resolving impediments to completing the work that is assigned to the iteration Help with managing the product backlog Assist the team with getting questions about work items answered Make sure the team understands the scope of the work being requested Help the product owner coordinate efforts that cross teams if they need assistance Ensure that the team is adhering to the scrum process Hours on tasks need to be updated at least once per day Tasks should all be created before the iteration begins All tasks should have an estimated work remaining if they are not complete All tasks should have hours worked if they are in any status other than not started Each member of the team should only have one active task at a time. Hold the scrum team accountable for completing the work they agreed to complete during the iteration Hold the product owner/stakeholders accountable for making sure they answer any questions that the team may have about work items Insulate the team from outside distractions so they will focus on the items that are assigned to the iteration Experience: Candidate must have 1-3 years previous Scrum experience preferred Experience running projects and teams bringing projects to completed status Excellent verbal and written communication skill Experience with critical thinking skills Ability to work as a team player and coach teams AMERCO and its family of companies, including U-Haul, have strived to create a culture of health and wellness.
