About Role
The Routing Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support by performing the route planning duties diligently. Responsibilities could include but are not limited to route planning, allocation of fleet equipment and drivers and maintaining constant communication with drivers to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identify the orders for the next day and create a plan for deliveries using Weee's routing software
- Ability to understand drivers performance and providing the necessary support
- Assist with administrative and contracting tasks as assigned
- Monitor delivery drivers status and alert management when drivers are not performing as needed
- Dispatch vehicle keys and monitor drivers' workflow
- Make sure all paperwork inside the vehicle is current i.e., registrations, insurance cards
- Suggest opportunities to reduce costs and improve fleet operations
- Daily, weekly, monthly reporting in regards to delivery performance for the warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- GED
- 1-3 years of working experience
- Highly self-motivated individual who is disciplined, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment required
- Management skills plus
- Bachelor degree or above
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Excel, ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask
- Bilingual is a plus (Mandarin/Spanish)
