POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an Area Supervisor who will manage a geographically dispersed team across multiple locations in Chicago. This person will lead and supervise day-to-day operations of clinical team and patient service representatives at assigned sites. The Area Supervisor will lead performance improvements and is responsible for the operational efficiency at their area locations to ensure the success and achievement of our goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the expectation of professional, ethical and patient-centered conduct
- Manages daily operations of assigned locations, including daily huddles, meetings and calls
- Responsible for talent management and development; educates and establishes training of staff on new protocols, technology and initiatives
- Fosters teamwork and provides hands on leadership to clinical and patient services staff
- Develops effective working relationships with physicians
- Collaborates with peer Area Supervisors and is responsible for scheduling staff
- Partners with Area Supervisors, Regional Operations Manager and Director of Operations to establish annual operating and personal development goals for each team member in support of organizational goals
- Prepares key metric reports both on a weekly and monthly basis
- Able to function as a medical assistant or patient service representative in the event of an area coverage shortage
- Oversees the inventory process
QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS
- Represents the organization positively in the communities they work in and support
- Strong ability to multi-task including being able to manage multiple people, teams, locations and projects successfully
- Ability to lead by example and follow WFAI core values
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Committed to continuous performance improvement
- Associate degree required; BA preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting preferred
- Medical Assistant certificate preferred
