About us
Weiland Trucking are proud haulers of some of Wisconsin’s finest beers and cheese along with many other commodities throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest since 1961. We are looking for a Lead Dispatcher to head our transportation fleet.
Job duties include:
- Overseeing the daily workflow of each driver
- Coordinating load availability for drivers
- Planning drivers’ daily routes based on available loads
- Communicating effectively and professionally with both customers and drivers
Skills required:
- Strong verbal skills and professionalism
- Effective leadership skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization, as well as with customers
- Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) minimum
- Must be able to navigate load boards and have knowledge of maps in the Mid-West
- Previous transportation background or transportation degree required
- CDL license preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
