What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Weis Markets?
Graphic Designers act with urgency and care to accurately execute a multitude of creative assets utilized to assist in branding campaigns and sales building efforts for Weis Markets, Inc. within strict timelines and in accordance with brand guidelines. Creative assets include, but are not limited to, price and item circulars, direct mail pieces, point of sale marketing materials, outdoor assets and digital assets.
- Create circulars and inserts to be distributed through publications to over 3M households each week within required timelines.
- Develop and populate weekly templates with information provided by members of the Merchandising department.
- Work collaboratively with both Store Support and Store team members to understand the strategy and needs of planned marketing and promotional campaigns to accurately portray branding and messaging details through creative campaigns using accurate copy, headline art and tape style.
- Ability to proof read copy to ensure accuracy in all ads and other forms of marketing material.
