Background
Be a member of an exciting and professional team as a Mobile Crisis Clinician delivering assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and their families; in the community, at schools, police stations, or in hospitals throughout Northwest CT. The Mobile Crisis team responds to 211 calls, 24 hours/day, seven days/week.
This position requires a self-motivated clinician who can work in a fast-paced environment providing short-term clinical services to a diverse caseload of children and adolescents from birth to age 18 and their families utilizing a variety of treatment modalities
Qualifications
Schedule: significant remote work available; dispatching from home.
We have a variety of shifts open; days, 2nd shift, and overnight.

Qualifications
- Must have the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of both agency and client matters. Must understand and be able to display the clinical knowledge and expertise necessary to perform crisis intervention.
- Must have knowledge of cultural diversity and be capable of displaying cultural competency to the populations served by the program.
- Must be able to communicate knowledge and expertise in clinical theory and practice as it relates to the populations served by Wellmore, Inc.
- Must be capable of working as a part of a team and be able to effectively communicate with both families and professionals (in writing and verbally).
- Working knowledge of the greater Waterbury area is a must!
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle to provide out-of-office (in the community, at schools or hospitals, etc.) services on a daily basis. Mileage reimbursement for business miles.
- Must be able to document case notes in a timely manner

Education And Experience Requirements
- Must hold one of the following credentials: to start employment LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or licensed or license-eligible psychologist in the State of Connecticut, with master's degree in marriage and family therapy, social work or related human services field.
- One year of post-graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families is preferred. Experience in family therapies as well as family systems theory and practice is preferred
