How you make a difference
As an Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient functioning of the department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This will include tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing documents and records. Additionally, you will be expected to work closely with other members of the department and provide high-quality support to help the team achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to department managers by performing general office tasks, such as answering phones, typing letters, filing, and distributing mail.
- Maintain confidential and complex files and manuals, order supplies, and perform other relevant duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
- Manage a variety of records, including manual files, reports, publications, messages, and indicator boards.
- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and operate computer systems and other office machines.
- Process and submit management expense reports to ensure accurate financial record-keeping for the department.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional college level courses preferred.
Experience
- One (1) year of clerical experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
