How you make a difference

The Clinical Technology L2 Support Specialist will serve as a technical expert and escalation point for select issues from the IT Support and Application Specialist Team. They will configure clinical applications to ensure reliable and user-friendly products and provide 5-star customer support to colleagues in the field. This role will work under normal supervision to provide support and guidance when requested by the Application Support team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users, county IT, and vendors for clinical applications. 
  • Document knowledge base articles and accurately log support issues and resolutions in the ticketing system. 
  • Attend team standups, cross training sessions, and weekly 1:1's with the supervisor to contribute knowledge and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Follow the Major Incident process and work with application vendors to resolve issues. 
  • Actively contribute to providing a 5-star customer support experience and participate in process development/improvement for support strategies. 

Qualifications & Requirements

Education  

  • High school diploma 

 

Experience  

  • Preferred experience in clinical setting 
  • Preferred experience in correctional setting 
  • Minimum 2 years customer support experience 
  • Knowledge of EHR systems, applications preferred
