How you make a difference

As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with management teams and quality leadership to identify improvement opportunities and develop projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and product/service quality. Your responsibilities will also encompass the management of customer and internal quality audits, ensuring compliance with established standards, and devising and implementing improvement plans to drive continuous quality enhancement across the organization. In this role, your problem-solving skills will be instrumental in fostering a culture of quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ideate and maintain a pipeline of business improvement projects, overseeing their execution and assisting cross-functional teams in enhancing patient care, safety, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Engage directly with various teams, facilitate data-driven insights, and drive necessary business changes while building and maintaining a robust data pipeline for analysis.
  • Design and manage a system for data, analysis, and project solutions, enabling performance status reporting and effective communication of findings to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct quality review audits, maintain regulatory compliance documentation, and provide training on lean tools and methodologies to drive process improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus by establishing and measuring business metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Correctional Healthcare or Mental Health experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Certification or education in Lean Six Sigma or other Quality Management System preferred
