Wells Fargo is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead an Accommodations Team within Employee Relations. This leader will be responsible for managing consultants who consult on accommodations cases with employees and managers across the company.
The Accommodations team works with both employees and managers to facilitate an interactive process to explore job modifications and accommodations. A collaborative approach is used to seek successful solutions and reasonable accommodations to help our team members or job seekers (internal and external) with disabilities or medical restrictions successfully perform their jobs or in the job application/hiring process.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop direct reports and potentially resolve escalated employee relations Accommodations cases from less experienced individuals
- Be responsible for making recommendations and improving current Employee Relations (ER) Accommodations practices and policies within a line of business
- Identify and recommend opportunities within Employee Relations Accommodations functional area to enhance the employee relations model through effective consultation and interpretation of metrics to support business decisions, internal leadership training, and talent assessment
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding Accommodations across lines of business
- Serve as an escalation point for complex individual job modification cases to mitigate potential and unforeseen risk
- Collaborate and consult with Employee Relations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers
- Develop vendor relationships, including quality assurance management
- Collaborate with key partners and recommend enhancements to leadership on the development and designing of policies and procedures in order to manage risk and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- 4 years of employee relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 years of Leadership experience
- Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
- Solid conflict management and decision making skills
- Knowledge and understanding of operations or fulfillment processes
- Solid critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management
- Position will have onsite presence from one of the following locations: Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; Chandler, AZ; Des Moines, IA; Charlotte, NC; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX
